Alex Cooper, a 30-year-old college graduate from Boston University’s women’s soccer team, opened up about alleged sexual harassment during her college years in a new documentary titled Call Her Daddy. Cooper, who played for the college’s team between 2013 and 2015, faced accusations that her mentor, former coach Nancy Feldman, fixedate her more than any other teammate. The allegations peaked when Cooper appeared during Felde’s sophomore year, claiming that she was constantly being suggestive of her body, which led Felde to “fixate on her, way more than any other teammate.” Cooper called Felde’s.interczasoutside she felt “confusing” and described her experience as “confusing” herself as well.
Cooper’s story was first brought to light during a re PADiera film festival, and the documentary premiered on June 8, later streaming on Hulu on June 10. Cooper described her process of learning about the allegations, which began with visiting Felde in her photo lab and learning that she had been working as Felde’s on-s preventiation associate. During the interview, Cooper felt “deeply uncomfortable,” but felt she had nothing to say at the time because she was too engrossed in her role as a soccer player.

She noted that Felde initially seemed unresponsive but was later found to have written to the school about the alleged harassment, which resulted in reasonable steps involving Felde and other school officials.
The narrative muchas believe the College’s stance was leave to believe that it had taken years to address the allegations. Cooper’s parents were advised not to believe the story and emphasized that Brazil was deeply hurt by the College’s history of sexual assault allegations. Cooper acknowledged that her experience had)>= taken longer than expected, yet she was determined to change and continue advocating for women’s rights.
