Kerstin Lindquist’s Emotional Farewell to QVC’s Saturday Morning Q

After nearly eleven years of gracing the screens of QVC viewers every Saturday morning, beloved host Kerstin Lindquist bid a heartfelt farewell to her cherished show, Saturday Morning Q, on December 28th. The emotional goodbye, shared with her co-host Alberti Popaj and the loyal viewers who became like family, marked the end of an era for Lindquist and the show. Filled with laughter, reminiscing, and heartfelt tributes, the final broadcast encapsulated the warmth and connection that Lindquist brought to Saturday Morning Q for over a decade.

Lindquist’s journey with QVC began thirteen years ago, and Saturday Morning Q became a cornerstone of her career. Over the years, she cultivated a unique bond with viewers, creating a welcoming atmosphere where open conversations and shared experiences flourished. The show evolved into more than just a platform for product presentations; it became a community where Lindquist and her audience connected on a personal level, sharing laughter, stories, and even navigating challenging times together. The genuine warmth and empathy she exuded resonated deeply with viewers, fostering a sense of belonging and familiarity that extended beyond the television screen.

During her final broadcast, Lindquist fondly recalled some of the most memorable moments from her time on the show. From hilarious on-set antics that forced them to walk off-camera, to the creative energy of the Halloween shows, each memory highlighted the joy and camaraderie she shared with her colleagues and viewers. She also reflected on the unique experience of filming the show during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Despite the challenges and uncertainty of the time, Lindquist and the team persevered, maintaining a sense of connection and normalcy for their audience. This dedication to their viewers solidified the familial bond that made Saturday Morning Q so special.

Lindquist’s decision to leave QVC was not made lightly. After much reflection and prayer, she felt a calling to dedicate more time to her family, and to pursue her passion for promoting faith and wellness in women’s lives. This new chapter, while bittersweet, allows her to focus on these deeply personal values and explore new avenues for sharing her message. Though she has a few more QVC shifts scheduled in January 2025, her final Saturday Morning Q marked a significant turning point in her career. The decision, driven by a desire to align her work with her personal values, reflects Lindquist’s commitment to living a purposeful life.

The outpouring of love and support from colleagues and viewers underscored the impact Lindquist had during her time on QVC. Jennifer Coffey and Rachel Boesing, fellow QVC hosts and friends, shared heartfelt messages of appreciation, acknowledging her contributions and wishing her well in her future endeavors. Popaj, her long-time co-host, offered a particularly moving tribute, praising her kindness, unwavering faith, and boundless energy. He acknowledged her dedication to both her family and the QVC community, recognizing her ability to uplift and inspire those around her. The genuine affection and admiration expressed by her colleagues painted a portrait of a woman who touched many lives with her warmth and authenticity.

As Lindquist embraced Popaj in a tearful farewell hug, she expressed gratitude to the viewers who had been a constant presence in her life for eleven years. She acknowledged the unique bond they shared and the "family feeling" that permeated every Saturday morning broadcast. Looking ahead, she expressed excitement for the future of Saturday Morning Q, confident that the show would continue to thrive under new leadership. Her closing remarks echoed the optimism and grace that characterized her time on the show, leaving viewers with a sense of hope and anticipation for what lies ahead.

Embarking on this new chapter, Lindquist plans to focus on several projects close to her heart. She will continue to host her "StRest" podcast, a platform for exploring themes of faith, wellness, and stress management. She will also pursue health coaching, offering guidance and support to women seeking to improve their physical and emotional well-being. In addition, she has a book deal in the works, with a devotional planned for release in 2025. These ventures represent the culmination of her passions and provide a space for her to connect with women on a deeper level, offering guidance and inspiration as they navigate their own journeys of faith and wellness. Lindquist’s departure from QVC marks not an ending, but a transition to a new phase of her career, where she can further pursue her purpose and share her gifts with a wider audience.
