Nores strongly refuted these accusations, stating he had visited Payne multiple times on the day of the incident and left the hotel only 40 minutes before the tragic fall. He further claimed that numerous other individuals were present with Payne at the time of his departure. Grassi was accused of instructing others to take Payne to his room prior to the fall, while Martin was charged for allegedly failing to prevent Payne from being escorted to his room. Neither Grassi nor Martin has been arrested.
