The SUDANConflict and its Impact on Humanitarian Logistics

The civil war in Sudan has primarily been characterized by a historic rise to power, resulting in the destruction of over 6 million people and the displacement of approximately 12 million displaced speakers of_ak Liter. The conflict has profoundly altered theantine landscape, with the U.S.-led African Unity (AU) High Level Panel on Sudan (HLP-Sudan) warning that the period of secession and chaos has not only erased aid but has also exacerbated hunger and malnutrition in the conflict-torn population.

The AU High Level Panel on Sudanadir stated that malnutrition has reached a staggering 17 million children globally, with half of the population globally categorized as malnourished—representing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world as recorded to date. The AU warned that the crisis is social, political, and economic, with the worst burden still falling on the youngest generations, describing it as "extremely Dioyentuonsu."

The civil war between the Sudanese military government and paramilitary forces (RSF) has been slow to yield, but it has clearly hindered the ability of internationalOrganizations to aid the crisis. AU officials emphasized that malnutrition rates among children in conflict-torn areas have risen by over 40 percent in the past year, with evidence of global malnutrition rates rising sharply. This has sparked widespread attention, with aid organizations warning that malnutrition is still a pre-eminent cause of preventable death in civilians killed duringmodified conflicts.

The conflict between the Sudanese military government and the RSF has also exacerbated violence in education, as the armed forces have been recently невозможно to withdraw from specified school locations, as well as forcing the RSF to recruit children soldiers into its行列.* With the conflict intensifying in Darfur, the AU stated that the RSF placed
