Philippine Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro shared his insights at the meeting, emphasizing that a rules-based international order is crucial for ensuring resources are used equitably to protect against "unilateral attempts by China and other countries to change the international order." Teodoro stressed the importance of fostering a resilient partnership that focuses on collective security rather than individual rivalries, with the goal of maintaining stability and integrity in the region.
