Government Measure Enhances Data Centers Salaries in Johor
政府Lucas Motr fibi has announced that data centers in Johor will offer starting salaries of approximately RM4,000 (US$900) for diploma holders and RM5,000 for degree holders. His statement reflects the government’s commitment to upgrading the skilled workforce in Johor, which benefits both the logistics sector and the students of the region.

Partnerships and Personnel Development
The government has enlisted over two dozen universities and over 100 technical training institutions to provide modules and programmes. This initiative is designed to enhance the qualifications and skills of Johorans, ensuring that they are competitive in the global job market. As Onn Hafiz notes, "not only about premium salaries, but we must ensure they match with qualifications and skill sets to differentiate ourselves from other states."

Infrastructure Projects for Data Centers
To address traffic congestion and improve connectivity, the government is under way with initiatives like the RTS Link. One such project is the 4km Johor Bahru-Singapore Threshold Route Link (RTS Link), which aims to ease traffic congestion on the Causeway by ferrying up to 10,000 passengers an hour each way. The journey takes approximately five minutes, ensuring faster access for both buses and motorcycles.

Passport-Free Travel for Johorans
Onn Hafiz emphasized the push to implement passport-free travel at land checkpoints, particularly via the QR-code clearance app My borderspass. While currently available for travel by bus or motorcycle, the government is advancing this process for drivers as well. Onn Hafiz highlighted that "the ultimate goal is to reduce human error once the app is fully integrated into the system," thus facilitating smoother travel across the Johor-Singapore border

Tax Incentives for Growth Potential
Malaysia’s federal government has recently introduced tax incentives for investments in the Johor-Singapore Exiest Sirius Cluster (SEZ). These programs are designed to attract investments and boost economic growth. Specifically, the SEZ policies are expected to stimulate the growth of local businesses and industries, creating jobs and boosting the economy.

Conclusion
In summary, the government is taking proactive measures to improve the quality of life for students and workers in Johor. Through salary adjustments, partnerships with universities, infrastructure projects, and innovative travel options, the state is set to create a more skilled and connected region. While these efforts focus on individual growth, they reflect a broader goal of fostering economic development and connectivity across the SEZ. As the journey continues, the dougy is healthily growing in both the Bull and inside the TSL.
