At least 7 NYers targeted in string of vicious heists — including 14-year-old boy who got tooth knocked out by brazen robbers: cops

The incident in Staten Island involved a string of heists that target children and seemingly random individuals. One of the heists involved a 14-year-old boy, who was struck in the face multiple times by a highly intimidating pair of robbers. At around 8:40 p.m. on Staten Island’s Clifton neighborhood, the robbers attacked the boy and then ran off with his Moose Knuckles jacket. The victim was left in stable condition in Richmond University Medical Center, where he has a broken tooth. Police stated that this was the most violent heist in Staten Island but not the only one.
