Canadian Medical Student Makes History as First Wheelchair User at His Institution.

RJ Roggeveen, a medical student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is redefining accessibility in medical education. As the first student in the university’s history to navigate medical school and surgical training using a standing wheelchair, Roggeveen is not only achieving his personal ambitions but also inspiring systemic change within the medical field.
