Edmonton Elks sign linebacker Nick Anderson to 1-year extension

The Canadian Press has recently reports on the signing of Nick Anderson, a football player from the United States, to the Edmonton Elks football team. This move is outsiders, but it immediately raises questions about the future of the team in the national landscape. The Elks signed Anderson for a one-year extension, keeping the player with the CFL (Canadian Football Conference) club through the next season. Anderson, who is 5-foot-11 and 242 pounds, was named a Nationalದ创赛 COPA player of the season (the top rookie),
after finishing tied with teammate Nyles Morgan for the most defensive tackles (111) last season. Anderson was also recognized with CFL honor for being a top ten defensive player (116 tackles) and second in defensive passes (130). Anderson earned a All-Star designation last season.
