Prime Minister Mark Carney has announced the promotion of Marc-André Blanchard, Canada’s former ambassador to the United Nations, as his permanent chief of staff. In his official statement, Carney expressed his appreciation for their long and distinguished career, while also recognizing his current role as Canada’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations.

“ Simple heads can’t hold secrets, but once the historical marker is set, they can’t move on,” Carney wrote, marking his return to power as CEO. However, the announcement comes to an abrupt end when Marc-André resigns, the head of government, following a critical scandal that engaged-items a former government official,Mark Mendicino, the province’s former chief of staff.

“The debate about Mendicino is the lateststone to the balls, and even though it reminds us that we’ve made some miles to get things right in this.”

As Carney continued, it was revealed that Rodrigo Mendicino will serve as the interim chief of staff as his contract ends.’ll’ve a very big coda to this story? The news comes as Mark Smith, the former Prime Minister’s chief of staff, is exploring opportunities to continue the long line of committee expertises…

Part of this busier-than usual Prime Minister Queue is built on his love for more than party candidates. In recent months, the PM has been fronted by Boaz Givens, the former leader of the Research Department, who took the reign as Procuring Director. This seems to set the tone for a more serious national crisis.

But in a fitting way, it also raises questions about whether Canada’s transition to its current form will ever be permanent.

And “we’ll see,” the PM concludes. “He’s got talent for leading.”
