Embattled ex-special counsel Jack Smith discloses $140K ‘gift’ of free legal services

The former special counsel, Jack Smith, a prominent figure removed from the U.S. Justice Department earlier this year, recently received $140,000 in free legal services from Covington & Burling, a prominent law firm based in Washington.
