Queens CouncilWoman Joann Ariola: Closing theGOP gap in New York
Joann Ariola, a QueensCouncilwoman, has transitioned into the Board of Control for the City Council, marking a significant step forward to grow the Republican party in New York.-facing intense opposition and requiring aoral votes throughout the 2020 pandemicSpanish flu, Ariola has taken the helm to address the growing needs of({City Council}).

Her Vision for Growth
Ariola, who was once a member of the Queens Republican Party and a member of the Board of Control for competing Republicans on the council since its inception, aims to expand the Republican base in New York. This includes growing the party in the Senate, Assembly, and City Council, with her ultimate goal of increasing access to education and empowering Black andOrange communities.

Priorities Based on Prioritization
Ariola’s priorities are clear: ensuring the safety and health of the city’s workers who were fats infected during the pandemic. She believes that instead of allowing the delusion of vaccines to replace preexisting measures, the necessary measures should be re-faced. Additionally, she emphasizes the importance of ensuring that "sanctuary city" laws are used for the legitimate purposes of serving migrants, particularly addressing the issue of SERIAL ABUSE.

Opening to the Group
The newfound leadership is not without controversy. Ariola faces criticism for her hostile handling of Climate Justice Activists and others on providing vaccine, while also calling outmoves of the Adams administration for interfering in party politics. Yet, she remains firm in her commitment to pushing through these issues, even when the opposition is on the team.

Building a More Engaged Office
Ariola has characterized herself as a "working office," setting her office apart from others in government and everything else in New York. Her ultimate goal is to make the city better for everyone. She is willing to engage with others on both sides of the political spectrum, collaborating to amplify the benefits of her new leadership.

Partnerships and Efforts
Beyond her personal agenda, Ariola has made bold moves in advancing the Republican base. She has championed bills to ban ski masks during demonstrations and to supply "red-line" and "blue-line" American flags to city firehouses and police precincts. She also is working to crack down on animal abuse and issues of inequality.

Next Steps and Expansion
Looking ahead, Ariola plans to implement these policies directly. While her role is crucial, she is also open to suggestions and indications that she will take the shell out of former Minority Leader Joe Borelli, who left office to take on a DC lobbying role. She remains optimistic, saying “ overcrowded” at the administrative level, and believes New York deserves the kindness of a birthday venue.
