A federal grand jury in California has charged a 73-year-old man who allegedly committed three counts of making threats against Donald Trump, including threats to assassinate the former U.S. President. The man, Thomas Eugene Streavel, is due to be released on a $10,000 bond and could face up to five years in prison if convicted, according to a federal magistrate judge. Streavel made several posts on social media, including heated rhetoric about him, FLT, and threats to assassinate the President-elect on multiple dates, including November 28, 2024.
