Veteran Sportscaster Greg Gumbel Dies at 78

Greg Gumbel, a towering figure in sports broadcasting, passed away at the age of 78 after a valiant battle with cancer. His family and CBS Sports, his longtime broadcasting home, confirmed the news, marking the end of an era in sports journalism.
