Young’s Motorsports, a relatively new but ambitious team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, is gearing up for the 2025 season with a significant driver acquisition: Anthony Alfredo. This move signals the team’s commitment to elevating its performance and establishing itself as a competitive force in the series. After a promising debut season in 2024 with driver Leland Honeyman, highlighted by top-tier finishes at superspeedways Daytona and Talladega, Young’s Motorsports aims to build on that momentum with Alfredo’s experience and proven ability to consistently improve car performance. The team views Alfredo as a key component in their pursuit of consistent top-tier finishes and potential race wins.

Anthony Alfredo brings a diverse and impressive racing resume to Young’s Motorsports. His career trajectory demonstrates a consistent upward climb, beginning with karting and Legends car racing, progressing through the Southeast Limited Late Model Series Pro Division, and culminating in various NASCAR series, including the ARCA Menards Series East and both the Xfinity and Cup Series. His inclusion in the 2018 NASCAR NEXT class underscores his potential and recognition within the sport. Alfredo’s ability to elevate car performance, often turning top-20 qualifying positions into top-15 or even top-10 finishes, is a particularly valuable asset that Young’s Motorsports hopes to capitalize on.

Alfredo’s 2024 season further solidified his reputation as a consistent performer. Driving for Our Motorsports and BJ McLeod Motorsports, he secured seven top-10 finishes, two of which were within the top 5, including an impressive P4 finish at Michigan International Speedway. These results demonstrate his ability to compete at a high level and consistently deliver strong performances, even with less competitive equipment. His experience driving for various teams, including Richard Childress Racing in the Xfinity Series and a full-time Cup Series campaign in 2021 where he competed for Rookie of the Year, has provided him with valuable knowledge and adaptability.

The partnership between Alfredo and Young’s Motorsports seems mutually beneficial. For Alfredo, it offers an opportunity to lead a team with clear ambitions and the resources to compete effectively. He expresses excitement about joining a growing organization and contributing to its development into a championship contender. He sees this as a chance to showcase his talent and achieve greater success in the Xfinity Series. For Young’s Motorsports, Alfredo represents a significant step towards achieving their competitive goals. Team principal Tyler Young recognizes Alfredo’s driving prowess and believes he possesses the skills necessary to contend for wins in the highly competitive Xfinity Series.

The 2025 Xfinity Series schedule presents a diverse range of challenges and opportunities for Alfredo and Young’s Motorsports. From the high-speed superspeedways of Daytona and Talladega to the technical road courses of Sonoma and Watkins Glen, the schedule demands versatility and adaptability. The season kicks off in mid-February at Daytona International Speedway and culminates in early November at Phoenix Raceway, encompassing a grueling 33-race schedule. The regular season comprises 26 races, followed by a seven-race playoff series to determine the championship. This schedule provides ample opportunity for Alfredo and Young’s Motorsports to prove their mettle and demonstrate their ability to compete consistently throughout the season.

The upcoming 2025 season holds significant promise for Young’s Motorsports and Anthony Alfredo. The combination of the team’s ambition and resources, coupled with Alfredo’s talent and experience, creates a compelling narrative. Both parties have expressed enthusiasm and confidence in their partnership. The 2025 Xfinity Series promises to be a highly competitive season, and the pairing of Young’s Motorsports and Anthony Alfredo is certainly one to watch as they strive to make their mark on the series. Their success will depend on their ability to consistently perform at a high level, navigate the challenges of a demanding schedule, and capitalize on opportunities as they arise.
