Former business partner of Hunter Biden discloses his preferred strategy from Trump’s Department of Justice following sudden pardon

A former friend and business partner of Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, recently revealed his hopes for the Trump Department of Justice to restore impartiality and adherence to federal laws. Archer, who served on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma alongside Hunter, did not directly address Biden’s pardon but expressed optimism for the future under the Trump administration. Despite his own legal troubles related to fraudulently issuing tribal bonds, Archer’s conviction was overturned in 2018 over concerns about his innocence.

President Biden announced on Sunday that he had pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, who was convicted in two separate federal cases earlier in the year. The decision sparked controversy, with Republicans alleging Hunter’s business dealings were illegitimate while his father was vice president. Archer previously testified before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, detailing the business connections between Joe and Hunter Biden, including phone calls made to sell “the brand” during business meetings in Paris and China. Despite these connections, Democrats have defended Hunter Biden, claiming he did nothing wrong with his businesses.

The president’s decision to pardon his son has been met with criticism, with Democrats and Republicans divided on the issue. President Biden defended his son in a statement, citing Hunter’s battle with addiction and blaming “raw politics” for the scrutiny he has faced. The president emphasized that Hunter was treated differently due to his struggles with addiction and claimed that efforts to break his son have also targeted him. Biden expressed hope that Americans would understand his decision as a father and president, bringing an end to the ongoing attacks and selective prosecution faced by his son.

Archer’s hopes for the future focus on restoring impartiality to the Department of Justice, emphasizing the need for adherence to federal laws and the core principles of justice. Despite his own legal troubles and the overturning of his conviction, Archer remains optimistic about the potential changes that could be implemented under the Trump administration. The controversy surrounding Hunter Biden’s pardon has reignited debates about his business dealings and the involvement of his father, Joe Biden, in these activities. Republicans have long alleged corruption in these dealings, while Democrats have maintained that Hunter did nothing wrong.

The fallout from President Biden’s decision to pardon his son has intensified political tensions, with both sides of the aisle firmly defending their positions. Archer’s testimony before Congress shed light on the business connections between the Bidens and their involvement in various international dealings, fueling further scrutiny of the family’s activities. Despite the controversy, President Biden reiterated his support for his son and condemned the attacks and selective prosecution faced by Hunter. The ongoing debate surrounding Hunter Biden’s business dealings and the implications for the Biden administration continue to divide lawmakers and the public.
